Makers Market Expression of Interest
We’re super excited to be introducing a Makers Market for the festival in 2023. As a community-focused, family-friendly festival, we can’t wait to engage with our local makers and provide a platform for your fabulous creations!
What’s the market like?
The market will be in a brilliant central location on-site, next to the bar with plenty of passing foot traffic as it connects the main site with our new Orchard Stage. It’s a wide passageway between the barns and will be adorned with festoon lighting and bunting!
What sort of pitches are available?
We have spaces for 3m x 3m gazebos in our Makers Market alley – connecting the new Orchard Stage with the main site. This is on hard concrete standing. Power will be provided with a plug socket for each trader.
When will I be open?
We expect traders to be open between 1 pm and around 7 pm on Friday 28th, and 12 noon and around 7 pm on Saturday 29th of July. You can set up from 10 am each day or Thursday if you wish. The gazebo should be safe to stay up overnight – we have 24-hour security on site – but this is at your own risk.
How much does it cost?
The gazebo fee is £70 and covers both Friday and Saturday. This includes power, but you will need to bring your own gazebo, which must not be larger than 3m x 3m.
Are there any limitations on what I can sell?
We are looking for creative local makers with items perfect or a festival crowd. Traders may not serve food or drink or sell anything potentially dangerous.
