About the Festival

A family-friendly music festival in Herefordshire,
raising money for local causes

Happy festival goers enjoy a drink in the sun

Unlike other festivals, this is first and foremost a charitable fundraising event. Organised by Hereford Round Table (charity number 1184973) and our happy band of hard-working volunteers, all of the profits are distributed to communities across the county through a grants scheme.

Local groups, charities and people in need can apply for a grant. We are extremely proud to have donated over £1,000,000 to hundreds of incredible local causes over the past 40 years. Organising events like Rock The Barn helps us to fund those very worthy causes.

We want to make the event accessible to the whole community with affordable ticket prices and keeping the festival free for under 16’s. Both of our stages provide a platform for emerging artists, and we invite local food vendors to feed the masses!

Organised by A band of Volunteers,
Friends & FAmily

The whole event is organised by Hereford Round Table – a group of volunteers who donate hundreds of hours to the planning, preparation and execution of the festival.

We always partner with experts in things like music production, lighting, licensing, security and safety to make sure things are done right and everybody stays safe.

On the day, you’ll find our friends, partners and family members pulling pints, running the gates and making sure the event runs like clockwork. Give them a wave and please treat all of our team with respect and patience.

We’re always looking for new members! If you would like to help out, get in touch to find out more.
